PURPOSE

Determines the distance between the upper endpoint of the core of A1 and

function dist=GetCoreDist(X1,X2)

DESCRIPTION

 Determines the distance between the upper endpoint of the core of A1 and
 the lower endpoint of the core of A2. The relation A2 >= A1 is mandatory
 and the cores cannot be overlapped.
